Urgent care
If something feels seriously wrong
This page exists to do one thing: get you out of an app and in front of a clinician fast. We do not diagnose. We do not delay your call.
Contact emergency services now if any of the following apply
- Chest pain, pressure or heaviness
- Face drooping, arm weakness, slurred speech (stroke signs)
- Severe difficulty breathing
- Severe or uncontrolled bleeding
- Loss of consciousness or new confusion
- Anaphylaxis (throat swelling, severe allergic reaction)
- Thoughts of self-harm
UK non-emergency advice: NHS 111. Mental health crisis (UK): Samaritans 116 123.
Are your symptoms urgent?
Describe how you are feeling. Detectives Health checks your symptoms for recognised emergency warning signs and directs you to appropriate emergency guidance.
This feature does not diagnose illness.
This screen looks for emergency keywords only. Absence of a warning here does not mean you are safe — trust your instinct and seek care if you are worried.
