Who we are

Detectives Health is an educational platform that explains laboratory tests and results in plain English. It is developed and maintained by Steve Diongo and the Detectives Health Team. Steve Diongo is the Founder of Detectives Health and an HCPC-Registered Specialist Biomedical Scientist with more than 15 years of NHS laboratory experience and over 20 years of professional laboratory medicine experience.

Who develops and reviews our content

Scientific and educational content is developed, reviewed and maintained by the Detectives Health Team under the scientific leadership of Steve Diongo, following our review methodology, editorial policy and scientific & educational content policy.

How we are funded

Detectives Health is funded by user subscriptions. We do not accept payment in exchange for editorial coverage of any specific test, brand, laboratory, clinician or commercial product.

What we are not

  • Not a diagnostic service.
  • Not a treatment service.
  • Not a replacement for healthcare professionals.
  • Not an emergency service.
